Ja has a question

The others were surprised when they found the two of you already awake and ready to go when they came out of stasis. You explained that Jenny had wanted some alone time. The four of you had some breakfast and Ja ate more carefully but still ended up burping up the excess gas that she swallowed with her food. You all watched some T.V after including a show that the three of you were all familiar with and had seen a thousand times. Ja watched with great interest, trying to learn about Earth culture but felt like she was missing out on some of the context and inside jokes. When the show ended she asked "Could I eat one of you? "

"I thought you weren't ready to grow again?" You asked.

"Well I think I am missing out and with us getting to Earth soon I want all the knowledge I can get. When I eat someone I get their knowledge. Mum and the other zoobs just get feelings and tastes. I got memories from that Grik. You all have biochips so you will come back." Ja explained.

"There are some people on Earth that feel knowledge should be earned through your own experiences. You may be able to cheat the system but it won't feel as good as learning it yourself. Plus the women may have biochips, but the unborn children inside them do not. we may lose the babies if you ate one of them." You explained. "However, everyone here has a free choice."
