JX Day 11 - Carjacking!

The car, wisely, chooses to stop. Jinx yanks the driver out, but Jessica grabs her before she can jump behind the wheel.

"I'm driving," she says.

"Why?" Jinx looks indignant.

"Because I'm the smart one!" Jessica insists.

You know you're in trouble when you hear that. Jessica gets in the driver's seat, and you and Jinx get in. Jessica floors it.

Beside you, Jinx sits with her massive gun in her lap, looking bored.

"You drive too slow," she says to Jessica, who is pushing this pitiful little car as hard as she can.

A bright light flashes. You all look out your windows to see a helicopter above you, shining a light.

"Oh shit," you say.

"Whatever," Jinx replies, rolling down her window. "Hold me!" You grab her legs as she leans out crazily with her gun, which suddenly transforms into looking like a shark. You have no idea what's up with that, but you just hold her legs.

A glowing rocket soars into the air, and you stare with wide eyes as the helicopter is blown out of the sky.

"Amateurs!" Jinx says, coming back into her seat and stroking the shark gun in a very weird way.

"You just killed two people," you say.

"They're fine," Jinx says, unconcerned. Behind you, the flaming wreckage of the helicopter crashes to the ground and explodes.

Jessica concentrates on driving.

It turns out that she really is the smart one. Anticipating Jinx's breakout, she's made arrangements on the outside for clothes, a clean car, and some money and fake IDs. You aren't sure where to be more impressed... that she included you and Jinx in her preparations instead of betraying you, or that she got all this done at all. Jessica is vain and... shallow, but not stupid.

Thanks to her, you change cars, get out of your prison uniforms, and get safely on the road. You're out!

But it's been a long day. Jessica is still behind the wheel of your new car, a Ford Bronco, and it's totally dark.

"We should rest," she suggests. It's a good idea because Jinx is leaning on you snoring, and you're feeling drowsy despite the fact that you are now a wanted fugitive in a foreign country. You want to go home to Spain and take a nap...

So Jessica must be tired too.

"Let's stop here," she says. There's a motel up ahead.
