Izuku is concerned

Admittedly the lesson wasn’t that much different from his usual lessons, though perhaps it was Izuku’s imagination but he felt he was being favoured by his new teacher. More so than All Might she seemed rather blatant. Especially when it came to him and Bakugo. There was also some teasing but it wasn’t as obvious as it was with Momo and Midnight so he might’ve imagined it.

It was at the end of the lesson that she told him to stay behind to help, and Izuku felt that now would be a good time to bring up the uncomfortably subject.

“So Deku how is my favourite hero doing today?” She teased with a wink.

“I’m doing well, but I’m quite concerned about you. Waking up all these years later, and finding out what happened to your family. It must be awful.” Izuku said, “if you need to talk about it at all, I’m here. And as long as I wield one for all I will do everything I can to make this right.”

There was a brief flash of emotion in her eyes, before her trademark smile returned, “you really are everything that Ren says you are.”

“Is that so?” Izuku mumbled nervously.

“You know she told me about you, about how you were born quirkless. I think she was right. You deserve a lot more in life than you got kid.” Nana admitted shaking his head, before kneeling down to his level, her eyes glazing over. “Meet me in my room whenever tonight.”

With that she left, leaving Izuku white as a sheet.

A/N: so thanks to DV43 for the idea to have Izuku comfort Nana on her family. Also to clarify something, due to OFA Nana’s been resisting the attempts of {first_nane}’s mind control slightly, but seeing Izuku is as pure hearted as Ren believes is enough to make her slip up and succumb fully to it.
