Chapter 27 by darkchill
How does dinner go?
Ivy has something on her mind
You felt your awareness returning as everybody started serving themselves, and you shook your head carefully, trying to jog things back into clarity. It felt like the horny fog that had filled your brain earlier had cleared, but your brain was still running slower than it should.
Across from you at the table, Erik was staring with an uncomfortable intensity. He was tall and lanky, with his father's jaw but none of Karl's smoothness. He had the pasty look that comes from too much time indoors, and you wondered idly if he'd masturbated after watching you earlier. The thought was surprisingly kind of hot, even if his scrutiny now wasn't.
Next to him, Ivy looked contemplative as she attacked her food, her gaze shifting from you to her father and back. Several times you thought she might be trying to catch your attention, but you weren't sure.
Beside you, Karl passed servings around the table and made meaningless small talk about everyone's day and the food was. It seemed the typical "family meal," until Ivy spoke.
"So Dad, how did you and Stefi meet?" The question seemed innocent, but the look she shot you undercut it with meaning. You didn't know *what* meaning... but something was there. You scrambled for an answer, but Karl didn't need help.
"She actually just moved into the area a few months ago," Karl answered, slicing a piece of chicken, "we ran into each other at the grocery and hit it off." You smiled at his quick thinking; Karl was so smart!
"So what do you do, Stefi?" Ivy pressed, turning her attention to you.
"Oh!" you giggled, surprised at the question, and answered honestly. "I was a programmer, actually!" Karl looked over in surprise at this, but Ivy was skeptical.
"Where at? What languages did you use?" She asked.
You wracked your brain, planning another honest reply, but nothing came to mind. What languages *had* you used? It had only been what... A couple weeks since you were working at Congo? You knew a bunch of languages, right? Like... Nothing came to mind. Cold fear spread from your gut, waking you up like ice water poured down your back. You *should* know this, right?
"I... oh you know, just a few," you said finally, with another giggle. "I worked for Congo, but mostly I was just trying to meet a rich programmer!" That wasn't right, was it? "I'm between jobs right now." On your side, Karl patted your hand as though calming you. It helped a lot, but you were still distressed.
Ivy was still pressing you, "Well, I know a bit of C++, but I know most of the big companies now use newer code." Did she look disappointed? She paused as though hesitating, then changed the subject, "...have you heard about what Dad's company does?"
You jumped on that, eager to change the subject, "I haven't! What can you tell me?" It was surreal having a 'normal' conversation with the man who just came on your chest, the girl who watched him, and the son who was spying on you earlier.
"Well, they've got all kinds of products," Ivy started, "but recently they had this lawsuit about-"
"Oh, I'm sure that Stefi doesn't want to hear about a boring old lawsuit!" Karl cut in.
Ivy narrowed her eyes at him, then looked over at you with an expression you couldn't quite identify. Was that fear? Concern? She opened her mouth to say more, then closed it. Erik filled in the gap with a story about some video game, and then Karl steered your talk elsewhere from there. The whole while, your admittedly short attention was torn between getting fucked by Karl (finally!) and whatever was going on with Ivy.
When you finished dinner, Karl announced dessert, and disappeared into the kitchen. Erik started clearing dishes, but Ivy spoke up.
"I'm actually really tired dad, think I'm going to call it a night!" She approached you silently and passed a slip of paper into your hand, then disappeared upstairs. You checked the paper, finding a cell number on it with the words "text me." As you read the note, you heard a blender whirring in the kitchen.
You considered texting her (what was going on?) when Karl returned from the kitchen, holding two milkshakes and a plate of brownies. Erik followed, taking a shake and a brownie upstairs with a muttered "Thanks Dad!"
Your mouth watered, remembering how delicious those brownies were and how good Karl's fingers had felt inside you. In the other hand, Ivy had been acting really weird and seemed to have something to say to you. After hesitating a moment, you said...
What did you say?
