Why do you not dress according school rules?

It wasn't my fault, I was bullied

You fidget, looking at your feet, your hands, all around the room, anywhere but my piercing gaze.

“I try to get along with the other students, honest I do.” You continue, “It just seems that they think I am an easy target sir and pick on me. It’s not my fault. I have a right to defend myself, don't I?"

“You do indeed have the right to self-defense, but why is it so difficult for you to get along with your peers? It is noted repeatedly that many, if not most of your issues are self-inflicted. I can understand the occasional difference of opinion, I even grasp that among many schools there are bullies who prey on those weaker than they are, but every school? That strains credulity, don’t you think?

That aside, consider this; is it not better to exercise that space between your ears, and avoid the need for fighting entirely? Like you sister, you too are here to learn to take your place in society. You are severely in need of discipline; as the almighty does not seem to have gifted you with any degree of self-discipline, it will have to come from external sources until you have learned to emulate it.”
