It's promising

The checker is a blonde with almost no chest, almost no ass, and a turned-up nose who, somehow, is still as cute as shit.

When you put in your order she wrinkles that nose. "You must really be hungry."

"The salad is for me," you explain. Anna had thoughtfully (or maybe dominatingly) included what to order for you. She really is bossy and you worry you'll lose control of the project if you aren't careful. On the other hand... she was hot as shit.

The checker giggles. "You can sneak back for some fries later if you want."

"Maybe I will." You manage to restrain yourself from telling her that you'd like to sneak into her back... door.

When Anna and her friend Mara arrive, they grab the tray and Anna tugs you to a table. You notice the checker eyeballing the girls... It isn't the first time you've noticed that girls only seem to want guys that other girls are interested in. It's just been one of the few times that you've been the guy girls are actually interested in.

Anna wears a pair of jeans that might as well be painted to her body, the kind with strategically placed tears all the way up the front, as well as a sweater that highlights her spectacular figure. Mara, also in jeans, wears a Berkeley tank top that provides a generous view of cleavage both from the front and from the sides. Both smell great and you luxuriate in the scents for a moment.

"Hi Mara," you say. You notice that Anna and Mara are sitting on opposite sides of the booth. Meaning that you'll have (or get to) sit next to one of them and across from the other.

"Hi, Mike," she says. "Anna really likes this restaurant. Cheap date, huh?"

"Not sure if she told you but I'm unemployed. Cheap dates are the only ones I can afford."

"Tell me about it. I'm a grad student, remember."

You nod. Your brain is busy trying to decide who to sit next to. Both are hot but Anna is definitely hotter. But, should you sit across from her where you can see her better or next to her where you might get a little 'incidental' contact?

Your consideration is cut short when Anna pats the seat next to her. "You sit here. You my date."

That seems promising. Being a date had to be a good thing, right?

It is hard to believe someone who looks like Anna would have problems finding a date... and for a second, you flashback to Amber seeking you out and exploiting you. But you're an unemployed programmer now, not a promising student. Nobody is going to be looking to you as a big score.

You sit next to Anna.

"Mara has thinking about your problem," Anna announces as she consumes her quarter-pounder with cheese. "Some fancy maths."

"You see," Mara begins with the only things that you understand for the next five minutes. You nod along with her, try to figure out what the hell she's talking about, and watch the way her boobs move when she waves her arms. Damn, that's a nice pair.
