It's getting awfully late...

Linda's awfully pretty, but I was getting pretty cold feet at the thought of having sex with Frank. He seemed like a nice guy, but that's kind of a big step to take.

I mumbled my apologies, and they were clearly disappointed, but they smiled when they waved me off to my car. I drove home, thinking about them all the while.
