You walk down the cold, unlit street. The shadows play tricks on your mind-- you swear they're moving all around you. Suddenly, a large explosion erupts from a nearby alley and a hulking shape is launched out, slamming into a wall, leaving cracks upon impact. Immediately following emerges a large cloud of black smoke. The smoke re-solidifies into the shape of a man dressed in a black cloak, wielding two shotguns, who soon takes aim at the very ape-ish shaped mass. Your hand instinctively moves towards the switchblade you always carry for self defense.

The cloaked man doesn't seem to have noticed you yet. If you're fast, you may be able to get in a good stab or two. Alternatively, if you were to do what you suspect most people would do in such a situation and nope the fuck out of there, no one would be any the wiser.
