"Is that a bad thing?" you ask Ino.

"Huh?"

"You're pretty, sexy even. What's more, you're pretty intelligent," you say, mentally giving yourself a pat in the back for the play of words. "So, is there a good reason for me not to do so?"

"Naruto, you're only supposed to learn about people that you like."

"I'm sure that Iruka has taught us about the importance of learning about everyone around you, including your enemies. Besides, what's the problem here? I like you. So, that by itself makes it not a problem."

"Huh?"

You ignore Ino making the same not-so-intelligent sound in less than five minutes. "Didn't you make those books about everyone else? You do like them, right?"

"I do." Ino admits.
