Invite him back to the campsite

We look at each other briefly, before Brooke turns back to him "If you want, you can walk back to our campsite"

He quickly agreed, "Yeah, if you guys don't mind! I'm Thomas by the way" He said holding his hand out to Brooke. "I'm Brooke and this is my husband, Chris" my wife replied as she shook his hand, then he shook mine.

Brooke and I stood up, and he let Brooke lead the way. I was walking slightly behind him, and I couldn't help but notice him checking out Brooke while she walked. It's not an uncommon occurrence, everywhere she goes she turns the heads of young and old, men and women. But there was something I didn't like about it.

Brooke, being the friendly, outgoing person she is, she talked to him as we made out way across the beach and through the backyards of the lake homes, and through the trees to our campsite.

We found out he was supposed to be meeting a couple of friends later, in the evening, and he'd be staying in town with them for the night. And he was only in the area for beach party the following night.
