"Worse day ever, Maria, I got fired and don't feel like talking about it." I stormed off to my room.

I pretended not to hear her. I knew she meant well, but she always got on my fucking nerves, especially in a time like this.
"Sounds like you're in a pickle, James."
"Gah!" There's a man in my room. "How the fuck did you get in here?"
"The question isn't how I got in here, it's about why I'm in here."
"Okay, why the fuck are you in my room let alone my house. GET THE FUCK OUT!"
"But first, you may want to hear me out. I'm Chase and I'm a genie."
"Bullshit! I didn't even rub some stupid lamp!"
