I awoke in a strange house on a very soft couch with a large window in front of me. On the window were moving pictures of naked woman touching herself. "I... they were there when I woke up," I said.

"Sure, the TV just changed itself to a porn channel. I got ya," she laughed.

"Your secret is safe with me, Jason. My name is Kate, by the way."

Jason? That wasn't my name in the old world. "A pleasure to meet you," I said.

"Mom said you could stay if it was all right with me. I said sure. I'm sorry if I'm ruining your week of housesitting bliss. Things just came up, y'know? Spending spring break at home can be a bummer, but it doesn't have to be." She was talking too fast with too many words I didn't quite understand.

"I understand," I said stiffly.

"You're sweet." She smiled. "I'll, uh, let you get back to it. I'll be in my room." She winked and went upstairs.

What should I do? Follow her? Finish watching the TV? Explore this strange new world? Find a way back to Lycena?
