Introduce yourself

"Ahem," you shyly clear your throat, trying to get his attention.

He pauses his game, and turns to look at you, seeming a little surprised. "Oh, hey! I didn't think anyone else was still here, I thought they'd all gone out partying."

You chuckle, twirling a strand of hair around your finger. "Yeah, that's not really my scene..."

"Yeah, me either," he nods. "Who has the energy for all that after a whole day of moving?" He then extends his hand out to you with a smile. "I'm Adrian, first year mathematician."

You shake his hand, returning his smile. "Carolina. You can call me Carol though. I'm a fresher too, computer science."

"Nice to meet you, Carol. You wanna join me in a game?" Adrian pats the spot next to him on the couch invitingly.

You don't really have anything better to do right now, so you agree, picking up the second-player controller before sitting down beside him.
