Introduce yourself as a friend of her father

"My, you've grown up, Laurie," you reply smoothly. "I know your father. Don't you remember me?" The blonde girl glances back, hesitanting briefly beside deciding to believe me, mostly because the dumb girl can't tell any blacks apart.

"Oh, now that you mention it..." she laughs nervously, coming over to the car now.

"Yeah, you've become a foxy young woman, haven't you?" you comment, causing her to blush but still smile. "I just wish we were reacquainting under better circumstances..."

Now Laurie looks concerned. "What do you mean?"

"I guess I'm not surprised he didn't tell you," you sigh. "It's not easy thing to say about the family farm."

"Are we in debt?" Laurie gasps, hands going to her mouth as if to catch the offending words. "Are we gonna lose the farm?"

"Come in here and we'll talk, sweetheart," you offer her, and she immediately accepts your consolation. "I always seem to make white girls cry..."
