Into the Woods I go...

The first 30 minutes were uneventful. The only thing that happened was that the rocks that would appear every once and a while would Sandry stumble. Looking down the path Sandry sees someone. "Crap!" She says startles. She dives in a bush hoping the person didn't see her. The lady slowly walks past. Her kids running around like they just ate a gallon of sugar. To make sure that the lady doesn't come back Sandry waits 5 minutes. She settles into the bush in a comfortable position so she doesn't rattle it. Thinking its safe she gets up. A little bit of resistance occurs. Not enough to think shes caught on something, but there was enough to notice.

After 8 steps from the bush her last article of clothing falls with a sudden tug. She stops and stares ahead like a dear in headlight. Slowly she turns around just hoping that this is her imagination. The branch of the bush went through the back of the vest and caught it. The tug she felt was it fully attaching itself. The last tug was it ripping the back stitching out. The bush had thorns starting to grow at the very stem of it. It basically shredded through the stitches where the pieces of fabric met.

She could do nothing but keep walking. If it was from before she could at least change her mind and go through the city. But now... she didn't even want to think about the aftermath. She hears two people talking in the distance. all that is around is grass, a bench, and a light pole. If she runs into the tress to her left she can maybe hide, but she would have to dive to make it. There's no telling whats in there. Plus the hill seems slightly steep. if she loses footing she could fall and get lost in the woods. She could walk past them and hope for the best. However, Sandry thinks she recognizes the voices.
