Interruption to finding out their destination.

Helina and Sado arrived on the bridge but before they could check the navi computer the proximity alarm sounded and the computer reported a ship dead ahead. Sado did a quick sensor sweep and found that it was totally powered down with no signs of life support. As they got nearer to the ship they saw the reason for the lack of life support. The ship had been attacked and there were several large blast holes along the outer hull. Some of the breaches were large enough to see inside the ship's dark corridors and rooms and the ship seemed devoid of bodies.

The computer reported back that the ship was the Amalgamated Freight Ship Frobisher. Captain Fredrika Galland commanding, Crew of 6 3 females, 2 males and one droid. Defensive shields and weapons only. Maximum speed light speed plus. Principal mission to carry dangerous goods from earth to the outer colonies. Helina listened to the report from the computer and when it concluded she looked at Sado and said that they had to get over there. Helina would have to suit up in a spacesuit which she hated but at least it would allow her to investigate and luckily Sado did not need a suit.

They positioned their ship next to the airlock near the engines of the Frobisher and deployed the airtight tunnel. Once the pressure matched Helina cycled their hatch door and entered followed by Sado to closed the door behind them. Once the pressure of the tunnel matched the same as the Frobisher Helina cycled the hatch using an emergency battery pack. As soon as the darkness of ships corridors hit Helina her light automatically illuminated. It cut through the darkness to reveal that they had entered the engineering deck which was in a state of disarray.

The walls and decks had damage from blasters but there were no signs of bodies or any blood. The engineering computer was destroyed as were the light-speed engines. The sunlight engines were intact but there was no power to operate and Sado informed Helina that the fuel for the engines had been depleted. They moved to the next compartment which was the cargo hold and it was empty save some empty human-sized glass containers. Helina asked Sado what she thought the Frobisher had been carrying and Sado replied that they should head to the bridge and ask the computer.

They arrived on the bridge and Helina used the emergency battery to fire up the computer. The ship was two months out from Mars headed to Bryeou an ice planet. I was unsuitable for human life without a proper biosphere but it had one which was located on one of the poles. Helina accessed the manifest and found that the ship was carrying four humans, two men two women each in various stages of the virus MDC 14. The disease had an 84% mortality rate and no known cure. The disease attacked the cognitive areas of the brain causing it to shut down all the bodies vital functions.

Helina checked the medical logs and found out that prior to whatever had happened there had been no breach of medical quarantine procedures. Sado reported that she had accessed the captain's log and only one entry seemed relevant which she pointed out to Helina.

Marcus and Leon have started to question our mission to deliver the human cargo.

Marcus and Leon with the help of the droid have disabled the ship's engines. They have mutined taking over the ship and locking the rest of the crew in the hold. They are coming for me I am sure.

A strange ship approached us and opened fire. With no power we were defenceless and soon the Frobisher had been bordered but at least from my secured bridge I had the satisfaction of Marcus and Leo bringing vaporised.

That was the last entry and Helina looked at the battered damaged bridge door then said they should get back to their ship and see if there was any residual energy trails.
