Interlude II - Sophie part 1

Your father was furious when he discovered that you did impregnate the young housemaid. He pushed you over the kitchen table and beat your bottom with his rattan cane while berating your stupidity. He gave you more than thirty strokes that day and it did hurt so much that you nearly lost consciousness until your father's mistress Sophie returned home and placated his anger.

"William please stop hitting him, he is barely conscious. Why are you so angry, what happened?" Sophie gently held your father's arm urging him to stop.

Your father threw the cane to the floor and spat, "This bastard managed to impregnate our housemaid. I caught him with the girl today but they must have been fucking for months."

"William, please try to understand him. At this age it is normal for Garrick to be interested in girls."

Your father sighed and sat down the wooden chair by the fire, "Of course I understand this. I don't mind him fucking around but he should look for a whore or some married women to spill his seed. I hired this girl myself and I have to take responsibility now that she got pregnant in my own home, moreover it was done by my own son."

"What will you do now? Beating him up more won't change anything and I am sure he has learned his lesson." Sophie asked.

"I will go and discuss this problem with her parents. This idiot did not confess to me about the pregnancy and now the wench is already showing. This will surely cost me a lot..." he shaked his head before heading out of the door.
