Interlude: Studies

A number of years ago and not far from Sandra and Jessica, Dr Jane Farnsborough, the freshly appointed Professor of Futanati Studies at Oxford University submitted a paper entitled 'The Third Gender: Aphrodisiacs'.

This paper itself was trailblazing in it's field – one of the first real studies of Futanari's reproductive cycles since they first became not-uncommon some twenty-odd years ago. In it, Dr. Fansborough suggested that a Futa's precum contains a significant amounts of pheromones and is a potent aphrodisiac. One of the case studies she detailed suggested that just the presence of an aroused futanari sent endocrine systems of those around her into overdrive, increasing estrogen levels in females by an average of 300% and testosterone levels of males by over 325%. In a Futanari's case, the effect was compunded, and one of her results detailed a futanari couple who recorded a 750% increase in both estrogen and testosterone production.

Some elements of the Professor's research were scrutinised because of her lack of published sources and rumours of her fraternising with a student who took part in the study, but on the whole her findings were approved by her peers and quickly accepted in the wider scientific community.
