Inside some building

Your eyes slowly adjust to your new surroundings, you were laying on a bed, torches line the stone walls around you, you hear nothing but the flickering torches and... Is that snoring?

You begin to feel sore, you can barely muster the strength to lift your arms slightly, you look over at your wounded shoulder, the arrow has been removed and there's new bandaging in place, you then notice that you're wearing completely different clothing and are completely clean, not a speck of dirt on you. You feel slightly strange, that means someone stripped you and cleaned you off, you try not to think about it. You attempt to stretch your arms out, your wounded shoulder is constricted by the bandaging and, there's a sling it seems.

Suddenly you hear a muffled voice, like its behind a door, you can't make out what exactly is being said, but you can identify that it is a female voice, then you hear a door open. You look up and around, you see a young Bosmer walk over to your bed, when she gets close to you, her eyes widen in surprise.

"Oh, you're awake!" She says excitedly.

She runs over to your bedside and looks at your shoulder.

"I'm sure you'll be happy to know that you're healing quite nicely miss, our healers did what they could." She tells you

"W-where is Sanna?" Is Nacius okay? Where is he?" You ask, your voice hoarse.

"Who is Sanna?" The Bosmer asks, confused.

For a moment you both sit in silence, you didn't know what to say for some reason, then the Bosmer woman starts laughing.

"I kid, I kid! I know who you are, just trying to be funny miss." She says.

"You're in Skingrad miss, your Imperial friend is just across from you." The woman says, pointing to the other side of the room.

You try to lean forward to look ahead, but you aren't yet strong enough, the Bosmer notices this and helps you, slowly lifting you upwards until you are sitting up.

"He got cut up pretty bad, those wolves did a number on him." The woman tells you quietly.

Nacius was asleep, the snoring you heard earlier was coming from him, from what you could see, it almost looked as if his entire upper body was covered in bandaging, his face was scratched up and to be honest, you thought he looked like a corpse.

"Will he be okay?" You ask.

"He should be fine, he'll be able to walk as soon as he wakes up, unlike you." The woman tells you.

You remembered your calf, in the haze of things you never got a good look at the damage, you knew you couldn't walk on it back during the attack.

"Can Sanna see her leg?" You ask.

"Yes ma'am." She responds, moving your sheets over your legs.

You look at your calf, like your shoulder, it was wrapped in bandaging, but you noticed that there was a good chunk that was taken out of your calf, this worried you, would you be able to walk again?

"Will Sanna be able to walk with this leg?" You ask the Bosmer, worry apparent in your voice.

"In a while, we had the cities best healers try to restore as much of the calf they could, but those wolves really took a bite out of you back there, you'll be able to walk on it again, might have a limp though." She told you in a very manner of fact tone.

You continued to look at your calf, you attempted to flex your calf to see what would happen, you felt an apparent weakness when you did, all you saw was your foot move ever so slightly. The Bosmer put your sheets back over your legs.

"Are you hungry miss? Thirsty? You've been out cold since the boys got to you last night." She says

"Yes, do you ehh, do you know where Sanna's bag is? She had it with her during the attack." You ask.

"Oh! Yes miss, here you go." She says before reaching under your bed and retrieving your bag.

"Thank you, Sanna has food in here, she could do with some water though if you don't mind?" You ask her.

The Bosmer nods and leaves the room, you open up your bag and dig through it, eventually you find your magically wrapped venison you got back at the fortress.

"Still here..." You say to yourself.

You tear open the magical seal and begin ravenously scarfing down the venison, you didn't realize you were this hungry until you got the damned thing open! You guess that getting attacked by wolves really drains the tanks.

As you sit there and eat away at this still warm venison, starting to realize how parched you are you slow down, you look across from you and watch Nacius, his chest rising and falling with every breath, you thought about what happened in that strange dream you had. You feel your heart race for a moment, your true feelings about Nacius... Revealed to you in a dream, how cliché.

You hear a door open up and see the Bosmer woman enter with a large bottle walking towards you.

"Water, miss." She says, handing you the bottle.

You grab the bottle and begin almost chugging the water, the bosmer woman smiles and chuckles a bit.

"Thirsty miss? A wolf attack will do that to you."

You lower the bottle and wipe your face, grinning.

"Oh be quiet, you're starting to sound like him." You say, pointing to Nacius.

The woman laughs and pulls a chair up to your bedside, taking a seat, you start drinking more water.

"So, he's pretty cute huh?" The Bosmer woman whispers to you.

Your eyes widen and you **** on a bit of water in surprise.

"Wha- what kind of question is that?" You say between coughs.

"I've seen Nacius around here, he's stationed in Skingrad, you gotta admit, he's quite good looking eh?" She asks with a wide grin on her face.

You feel embarrassed again, you didn't know how to respond.

"Sanna s-supposes that Nacius is fairly attractive." You stutter out.

"Oh come on, I saw how you were looking at him earlier, you were with him yesterday, did anything _fun _happen?" She says, leaning closer to you with a sly grin.

You freeze up, of course you didn't do whatever she was implying! You glance back over at Nacius, still asleep, then back over at the Bosmer who is eagerly awaiting your answer.

"No! Sanna has not! She has just arrived in Cyrodiil yesterday, Sanna is just friends with Nacius!" You tell her.

"Okay." She says, rolling her eyes.

She stands up, moving the chair back and looks at you.

"Do you need anything else miss? You're going to be taking it easy for at least a few days."

You calm yourself and ease up, taking a sip of water.

"No, thanks for the water, eh, if you don't mind Sanna asking, what is your name?" You ask.

"Ulanna Dornrun." She replies.

"It was nice to meet you Ulanna, thanks again for the water." You thank her.

She begins walking out of the room, but before she exits she looks at you.

"Oh, I hope you don't mind miss, but when they brought you in, I had to clean you up before the healers got to look at you, I got you some new clothes as well!" She says.

That explains everything at least, you felt embarrassed that Ulanna saw you naked, but whatever, she was just doing her job.

"Sorry about that, Sanna was filthy even before the attack." You say.

"No worries, I've seen much worse around here, a bit of dirt and blood is nothing."

She laughs for a moment and you both nod at each other, she leaves the room and once again, things are quiet aside from the torches and the snoring coming from Nacius.

You look at your bedside table and see a few books, Brief History of the Empire, A Tragedy in Black, The Real Berenziah... The Real Berenziah? A lewd book, you wonder why this is here. As you study the books on your bedside table you fail to notice Nacius staring at you, its only when you hear an exaggerated cough when you decide to look up.

"Nacius!" You say, excited.

"I've been up for a while." He says, he sounded pretty bad, but you were relieved that he was even talking at all.

"Oh... How long?" You ask, wondering if he heard any of what that Bosmer woman said to you.
