Infected Sleepover
"We're going to stay and that's final." You explain to Jackal. While it could be dangerous for the night to be spent with nothing but a door between you and an infected feral, you trusted Hex's judgement here. It would be too dangerous to go outside this late, especially without rest for your leg.
Jackal growls in frustration and flares at his back pores some. The Toxicroak however looks relieved and mentions, "I promise you, she won't be an issue. I can even stay in the same room as her to prove it will be alright."
You look to Jackal to see if he'll agree to that. He simply throws his hands up and shakes his head, "Fine, fuck it, whatever. But I ain't gonna hold back if she breaks loose, got it?"
"It won't be necessary." Hex mentions. He sighs and rises up, "With that out of the way, allow me to get you some pillows and blankets to rest here in this room. Tomorrow morning, I will pack my things and...do what must be done. Then we can travel to Draxius' home. Sound fair?"
"Fine by me." The Typhlosion sighs as he slumps down on his rear by the table, his eyes leering at the door Lilly was behind. It was getting dark out, and despite the feral in the other room, it was going to be wonderful to get to sleep again in a home. With you and Jackal here in the living space, and Hex keeping watch or resting within Lilly's room, it assured you enough for things to be alright to stay here...

...Your closed eyes wince. A noise was deterring you from whatever dream you were having. You were originally relaxing by a lake with your legs in the water, letting the cold cascade over them as the water babbles down the stream. It sounded like a chair was scooting across gravel, which interrupts your dream to see one actually scooting towards you. You leer your eyes at the wooden seat as it just scoots closer and closer to you, the dragging noise sounding louder. Muffled noises even sounded out, like a voice from someone you should know, but no tangible words are interpreted from it.
Suddenly, a great weight crushes down onto you from above. Your eyes flash open to immediately awaken from your dream, staring at deep darkness. It was some time in the middle of the night, with you laying on your back in Hex's living room still. Before your eyes was just an immense wall of purple, but the muffled voice you heard earlier in your dream was far more apparent now. It was pleading grunts of Hex's voice, and while you adjust your eyes to the darkness, you can see it was the round belly of a Croagunk. You glance up higher to see glowing violet eyes staring at you, along with a drooling mouth yearning to eat you.
It was Lilly, she somehow escaped. The collar was still around her neck, and with a straining peer, you can see the chain was still connected to it. However, at the very end of the chain was the bolted metal panel that was originally in the wall. Wooden chunks were splintered off from it, causing you to think that Lilly was smart enough to know she couldn't break the chain. But she could break the wood that her chain was connected to.
She currs with a similar pleased croak as Hex did, and the muffled whines inside her belly could only make you consider it to be one person. Hex himself. He spent the night with her in the room, and if he was asleep when she freed herself or overpowered him...
You swallow nervously. The dragging sound you heard in your dream was the chain dragging along the floor as she approached you. "J-Jackal!" You call out to the Typhlosion, remembering that he was sleeping in the same room as you were. You roll your head to the side to see the Typhlosion laying on his back as well, and he was definitely awake. However, you watch him throb on the ground with rolled-up eyes and saliva foaming out of his mouth. Poisoned bruises wrack his body, and the venom dripping hands of the Croagunk alert you to the fact that she must've poisoned him before she straddled onto you. With both of her victims asleep, it made it easy to incapacitate them.
Jackal just remains on his back, completely unresponsive from the Croagunk's poison wracking him. It was all up to you to deal with this.
You strain your back to get up, but with your injured leg and the weight of technically two frogs on you, it was impossible to get up. You can't even punch this infected frog girl off, for her hands smash down onto both of your wrists to restrain you. The venom-soaked hands cause your own hands to cringe, denying you to even fight back. Your heart pounds a mile a minute. Jackal was right in his thinking despite your disbelief. You just worry what this frog has in mind for you in her thoughts...
1. Join Hex, you're food.
2. She's going to prove how people are infected.
