Your girlfriend was used to your appetite at this point, so it didn't surprise her much, but she laughed a lot when you accidentally bit too hard into a croissant, previously overstuffed with jam and butter, and a bit of it spilled out, directly on the table, your hands.

Since cursing in front of a full room wasn't a good idea, you had to force myself to keep the mouth shut and try to clean up that mess, meanwhile your girlfriend was still laughing, but she got up from her seat and went next to you helping with the cleaning.
