In the kennels

Vanessa was dragged through the door, revealing a room that was filled with cages lining both sides of the wall. Some cages were filled with barking dogs, waiting for their owners to come back and pick them up.

Vanessa was brought to a cage near the back, the vet assistant pushing her inside unceremoniously before locking it. As the vet assistant walked away, Vanessa sat up and grabbed the chain link door of her kennel.

"Wait just a minute! Get back here!" Vanessa yelled angrily as she shook the fencing. "Get me out of here right now! Do you have any idea who I am?! I'm VANESSA FREAKING SINCLAIR! And when I get out of this, all of you are going to - EEK!"

Vanessa squealed as she felt something wet and cold pressing up against her naked butt. Turning around, the former CEO saw a large, gray great dane panting happily as she wagged her tail, the tag on her collar reading the name "Bubbles".

"Oh, get lost, Scooby-Dumb!" Vanessa snapped, pushing the dog away. Bubbles merely walked forward and licked Vanessa across her face, causing the woman to spit and sputter in disgust.

"I. Said. BEAT IT!" Vanessa yelled as she shoved the dog harder, pushing Bubbles back a few feet. But what Vanessa didn't know, was that Bubbles had taken this as an invitation to play...
