Eventually, her support had paid off. Cleetus licked his lips as he looked over Marukka's body, and just as she was about to protest, he jumped onto her.

Marukka yelled and cursed as he clawed at her skin, biting and chewing every bit of skin and even organs. He kept eating until he reached her heart. Before long, blood pooled the ground.

Just as Cleetus was about to resume his feast, though, he jolted back onto the ground as she regenerated herself. After retaining her composure, she finally spoke.

"Congratulations; you've beaten the game. If it weren't for that girl, you would've lost."

Hannah walked towards her and asked, "But what now?"

"Well... I shall give you two choices for your friend: either reincarnation or rebirth. You can't have both, though." Marukka replied.

Hannah briefly looked at Cleetus before looking back at Marukka.
