Lucy might be an airhead, yet that was not due to being born that way: she simply didn't care much about thinking things too much. Her desire to have a boyfriend had always keep her from putting attention, or even generally thinking at all.

However, she did had that potential; it only needed exercise. And this situation, most definitely not normal, of having a little boy in her fingers, required thinking. Sure, normally she would not even try to think why or how this was happening, but this time, her head "gears", long rusted, started to turn around. And in a few seconds, an idea had formed in Lucy's mind.

She realized what was happening: the boy was talking something, a thing she could not understand due to being in English. In a moment of both anger and extreme regret, Lucy bited her lips: she should have listen even a little of her English classes. It would most definitely help right now.

Knowing that she was not able to understand or speak the language, only one option remained: she had to ask if the tiny boy could speak Spanish. If he did not, well, the boy would been in heavy trouble. If he needed any assistance, it would be a lot harder for her to aid him if they were not able to communicate effectively.
