In His Hometown

Stepping out of the cab, Jonny removed his sunglasses as he took in his old neighbourhood. It hadn't changed much since he last left. A few new faces, some new store names, but still had the look and feel of the old place he knew so well.

Just as he was hoping.

Since finishing college, Jonny had been across the world living the high life. It had been easy convincing his parents he had received a good scholarship. The speed in which he moved out surprised them somewhat, but he could always feed them some lie. It's not even like he'd need to convince them himself. Whoever his 'clones' occupied could do it for him.

He dressed smart casual, keeping a decent appearance but not looking too suspect. He also kept his average build. People here still knew who he was. What they didn't know however was the depraved fantasies he'd lived out. With his powers restored, Jonny had a free ticket to meet and go wherever he pleased. He'd also had the opportunity to bed whatever women he wanted. He could roll into town, mess with whoever he wanted, and leave without them ever knowing he was there.

He'd already messed with his hometown enough after he finished college. Nothing and nobody was off limits. He enjoyed life to the full and didn't look back. But a sense of familiarity kept him coming back every now and then. He'd left a mark on this town, in more ways than one.

Handing the cabbie his money, he included a good tip. Money wasn't a problem for him anymore. Sure he could just hitch a ride in whatever ride he wanted but sometimes he just liked a moment to plan without distractions. Placing clones about meant he was talking to himself a lot. And placing them in women normally meant a lot more.

Moving his shades back up the rim of his nose, he cracked his knuckles and he prepared to revisit some of his original conquests.

But was he alone? Or did he have someone with him?
