IR Day 7 - Go Right

You have to try to do the right thing for your team...

You go right and get around the midfielder, but just like you worried... Ingrid is there. Aki is with you. You can push through, but that's too dangerous... Ingrid could get hurt.

You are pretty sure you can get around her, but then you might humiliate her... in front of all these cameras.

She's coming right at you. You hesitate!

At the last second you pass to Aki. It's perfect and beautiful, a reverse kick. Now it's not about you and Ingrid, it's about Aki's shot on the goal, and she has a clear shot.

A fraction of a second after you pass, Olga hits you from your left side so hard that you almost go flying! You crash to the field in a lot of pain.

A whistle is blown before Aki gets her shot.

Olga is the first person to reach you... of course.

"You OK?" she asks, reaching down to help you up.

You try to take her hand, but it hurts too much!

"Ouch!" You fall back on the ground. Oh no... everyone is coming out. You are definitely injured. Everyone is coming out... You get taken to the infirmary, and you don't get to see the rest of the game.

In the infirmary, an attractive, but older, dark-skinned doctor named Ana tells you that your shoulder is dislocated.

"Don't be a baby," she tells you as she smacks it back into place.

You cry. A lot. Partly from the pain, partly from not knowing about the game...

...and Ana doesn't let you leave. She says you have to stay the night with your arm in a sling to make sure you don't do anything stupid. She says that if everything goes well, you can play in the real game on Friday. This is awful. Well... it could have been worse. It's a small injury. Did Adella have to do that? Well... she didn't know you would pass.

She might have been protecting Ingrid, thinking you were about to take her out. Of course... you were supposed to take her out. That's what Tiff would have wanted.

Ana leaves you, and Tiff comes to see you.

"How do you feel?" she asks.

"What happened?" you ask back.

"Aki took the penalty kick and made it. And then I got to sub in because of the injury. And I scored before the buzzer. 2-0," Tiff says, perching on your infirmary bed.

You are relieved... at least it had a good ending for the team.

"So how do you feel?" Tiff asks again.

"My arm hurts," you say. It's true...

"OK. You are going to take it easy," Tiff says firmly. "Everyone's yelling at Adella and Olga, so... don't worry about her. But this game has a lot of contact. It's because of the TV part. They want the drama."

You groan. You don't need more drama.

Tiff pats your leg. "Rest up. I'll need you Friday."

"OK," you promise.
