IIE. Fertility and Reproductive Science

The Church of Jocasta places a high value on reproductive science as an ultimate good for humanity. For most of human history, inbreeding was risky in that it could result in genetic defects which compounded with each subsequent generation. The Church believes that it was through divine inspiration that fertility and reproductive scientists have improved birth rates around the world, while making inbreeding completely safe. Scientists like those working for Baier and Pearson are doing an ultimate good by continuing to improve the fertility of women, the virility of Alphas, and the ability of each future generation to inbreed without fear of defects. Every year, the Church honors a scientist in the field of reproductive science for their contribution to this divine mission.
