IID. Manifest Destiny

There has developed a strong belief in the Church of Jocasta that it is their role to create the "true utopia" on earth. The gods expect those in the Church to spread its beliefs to the whole world; this is their Manifest Destiny. The true utopia will come once there are no longer Oedipal Zones, and instead the whole world is living under their beliefs and laws. According to Church doctrine, the last Oedipal Zone will be planet Earth, and the next step in human evolution will rise from inbreeding.
