I mean, she doesn’t have a choice

Jade had to follow his instructions, no matter how much she wanted to just ignore him and go right back to sleep. No matter how much she wished she could just leave him hanging outside looking foolish.

A deal was a deal, after all.

She looked at the time on her phone. 12am on Monday... Jason didn’t waste a second.

The question here was... Jade sent a message: Will this take long?

Jason replied: That depends on you :D

Hmph. Not exactly helpful, but at least it didn’t seem like he was about to take her away for the whole night. Ultimately, they still had school to attend, after all.

Jade looked down at what she was wearing. A white tank top and loose pink pajama pants. No underwear... whatever. Sleep-deprived, Jade couldn’t be bothered right now.

Reluctantly, Jade got out of bed and creeped her way to the front door. Taking infinitesimal care not to make a sound, she slipped out, and went inside the back of Jason’s van. Jason was in the driver’s seat, and once he saw that Jade was in, he grinned, and drove off.
