Chapter 2 by kendahl6969 kendahl6969

Would you help me decide? please?

- I head to his chalet-like home

My cousin Stacy and I are moving from the cottage we've both called home and are now heading toward Uncle Ken's flat. We both wonder what our life will now be like, living with a man we barely know.

So far, it has been very good. I helped Stacy pack her things and what I had of mine and we were whisked away in the limousine Ken had provided. Stacy had lent me some clothes, since I had yet to replace Auntie's 'tailoring'. She is a little tinier than me, though, so the clothes still are a little showy.

We had found a bottle of champagne in one of the chilled compartments and decided to toast our new life. By the time we had arrived at our destination, we both a bit giddy.

Even if we hadn't been, the tour of our new home would have made us positively delirious in delight. It had the look of a ski calet, a long angled building with a lot of windows and seemingly covered in rich redwood. It was landscaped beautifully, with a pretty fountain burbling near the main entrance.

We entered the main living area, the ceiling two stories high. A stone fireplace sat dark at one end, earth-toned overstuffed furniture of various sizes scattered over the large room. State of the art home theatre filled the wall at the other end. An in-house cook and housekeeper greeted us. The man was of undetermined ethnicity, the housekeeper was a pretty Swedish lass, not much older than us. The kitchen was, of course, equally well-appointed. We saw there was a grotto-like pool and jacuzzi outside the large backdoor windows. We flashed each other a wicked glance. What would our bedrooms look like? We raced each other up the winding staircase, like children on Christmas morn.

What do we find?
