I have to stay calm and collected if I have any chance of getting through to them.

I take a deep breath and exhale with a slow sigh. If I want to show them that I am not the Jadeite of the past then I need to stay calm. Usagi and Luna glare at me as I collect myself and my thoughts. I pint to a nearbt chair on front of a desk and ask if I can take a seat. Usagi and Luna look at each other than back at me before slowly nodding yes. "Thank you", I start as I sit down in the chair, "You two are right in that I havr done some regrettable things in the past and there is little I can do to make up for them in your eyes". I let the sorrow I feel for my transgressions show on my face causing Usagi to frown in a mixture of sadness and embarrassment at her earlier rudeness. Luna looks similarly downcast, but still has a gleam of suspicion in her eyes as she says, "It seems you might truly regret your actions from your time as a member of the Dark Kingdom. How can we be sure that this isn't some elaborate ruse though?". I think on Luna's words for a moment and reply, "You aren't wrong to be suspicious of me. The things I did were horrendous and inexcusable by any standard. Honestly, after our last encounter Queen Beryl decided to punish me for my failure by banishing me to rot slowly in eternal darkness". My explanation of what followed the battle between myself, Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, and Tuxedo Mask seems to shock the two ladies immensely based the gasp that escapes Usagi's mouth as she covers it with her hands and Luna's jaw dropping at my words. Usagi stutters out, "How are you here then? I...I mean if what you say is true then how were you able to come back at all?". I give an exasperated shrug and reply, "That is a good question. Sadly, I don't know how I escaped myself. I woke up in a random alleyway somewhere in town and was just as confused as you are". Luna nods her head and looks deep in thought for a moment before stating, "Perhaps our recent trip into the future had a larger impact than we realized. I suspect that there was some sort of magical backlash when the Sailor Scouts defeated the leadership of the Black Moon and one of the effects must have interfered with the banishment spell places on you by Queen Beryl". I nod at Luna's statement and can see her logic in thinking that. "So, what happens now?", I ask the leader of the Sailor Scouts and her animal advisor, "I have been languishing in a prison of perpetual torment while you and your friends have had time to grow stronger and more adept in the use of your power. Meanwhile I could only try my damnedest not to go insane from being cast into eternal darkness therefore I have no chance of beating you unless I catch you off guard before you can transform". I look up to see that I have Usagi and Luna's undivided attention as I conclude by saying, "I am at your mercy and leave my fate in your hands".
