Chapter 2
by alphakennyone
What happens next?
I feel a sharp pain on the back of my neck...
...and everything goes black. A few seconds later, a weird dream kicks in. I feel like I'm in high school again, with a few exceptions. I'm walking down the hallway when it is passing period. I expect everybody to either ignore me, grab me and dump in the garbage, slap my back with a "kick me" sign, kick me, or look at me with an "eww" look.
But they don't. Instead of those things, guys turn and look at me like I got away with pranking the soccer coach or like I'm the hottest woman on earth. Girls look at me like they are jealous, sending negatives remarks and gestures as they look at me head to toe. A few girls in the corner, both of them emo-types, look like they want fondle me, sending tongue-flicking and tongue-licking gestures. I ignore them but I am curious in what their looking at.
I walk towards the boys bathroom and I see a couple of jocks laughing amongst themselves. They detect my presence and as they turn around, they eye me as if they were eyeing me from a distances. Then in unison, they walk towards me and like bread, sandwich me on my left and right side. I reach out both my hands towards them and give a curious look to both of them. I push them away and but as I try to look at myself in the mirror to see my appearance, I black out once more.
When I wake up from my dream, I wake up sitting on the ground near the door of my busted up car, which, to my surprise is not steaming from overheating. I try to remember what happened, but to my misfortune, I can't remember anything before I black out, only that I felt a stinging feeling on the back of my neck. I feel soreness throughout my body and my sight is disorienting, seeing two scenes floating in front of me. I feel like I drank gallons and gallons of **** and in my state of blurry vision and abused motor skills I unwillingly tumbled down several flights of stairs and landed right next to my car.
I try taking deep breaths and ignore the pain and shock. I try not to panic as I get my bearing, not knowing where I might find myself. I get up from where I'm sitting and enter the car near me. It's a good sign that it's my car. Plus there is another good sign. The keys are still in the ignition. Unfortunately, when I turn the keys to turn the engine over, all I get is sputtering and the gauge saying that my gas tank is empthy. Before slumping into my seat in failure, I notice two headlight in the rearview mirror. I open the door and jump right into the path of the car.
Thank goodness the car wasn't speeding. It slowed down and I tried to see the description of the driver.
Who was in the car?
