I don't like him talking about her that way.

"Hey!" you exclaim. "That's my girlfriend you're talking about!" Involuntarily, you find yourself advancing towards him, fists clenching a bit.

Leo holds his hands up and retreats. "Hey! Relax! I didn't mean nothin' by it. Belinda likes it when I talk about her like that! Don't you, Belinda?"

Belinda responds calmly, "If Parker doesn't like it, I don't want you to talk like that about me, Leo. But it's true, Parker. He didn't mean to be insulting."

Now you feel a bit awkward, but you're happy that went well. Leo's reaction is almost the first respect you feel you've gotten since you came to Rosestead. "Well, no hard feelings, Leo. Maybe I overreacted. We don't talk about girls like that in Eastbourne."

"Hey, we're cool," Leo responds. "I just didn't know she was your girl now. I'll see you guys around." Leo walks off and you breathe a sigh of relief.

"That was sweet of you, Parker," Belinda says. "Unexpected, but awfully sweet. I've never had a boy who wanted to defend my honor before." She sidles up to you and pulls you into a kiss. Then she whispers seductively, "Makes me kind of horny actually."

You roll your eyes at her. "Is there anything that doesn't make you horny?"

"Spiders," she says seriously. "Unless there's someone to kill them for me. Then it makes me really horny. Come on. Go in and use the bathroom and then we'll go home."

You do as she says and the two of you leave the club.
