Fuck this motherfucker. You toss your gun to the side and step hard on the hilt of one of the katana. It flips up and you snatch it. I’m going to make this personal. He penetrated me, time to return the favor. You charge forward and leap into the air, chopping down with an overhand strike. From his sitting position, he has no chance to dodge so he simply flings his arms up to protect himself. You think you have enough momentum to slice right through his arms so when the blade bounces back after just slicing through the skin, you lose your grasp on it. It flips away from you and you stare in surprise at Yoshida’s arms. He must have some kind of subdermal plates! Just how many alterations does this guy have?

Yoshida gets to his feet and towers over you, even though you are standing on the table. Hell, I forgot how big this guy was. You make a move to leap away but his hands shoot out like lightning and grasp you by the shoulders. Then he flings you across the room as easily as you threw the sake bottle earlier. You smash into the far wall and right through the paper and wood that made it up.

Gotta get up. You’ve taken harder blows but that was in your original body. One that you’d spent countless hours training into peak physical condition. This is the body of Yozora Tainaka who dieted and sometimes jogged. With sheer will however, you manage to stumble to your feet. Just in time for Yoshida to punch you hard in the stomach. You fall to the floor and curl into a fetal position.

“Yoshida-sama! What is going on?” That must be one of his underlings. You're in too much pain to try and open your eyes and identify him.

“Go and fetch my clothing.”

“At once!”

You open your eyes a little and see Yoshida standing over you with his back turned. Like you’re no threat at all. Goddamn bastard could at least give me the dignity. Noboru returns with the clothing and you see he has collected the other two underlings. The girls have wisely decided to stay away. Except for poor Satsuki, who is in her corner with her hands covering her face.

Yoshida quickly gets dressed and then he says. “Noboru, find that whore of a proprietress. Kazuo, drag this one to the car.” They both bow and Noboru hurries away. Kazuo grabs you by the ankle and proceeds to drag you out of the Hoseki House. You pass near the gun you tossed away and you stretch your hand out toward it but it is just out of reach. Tears spring to your eyes, to your vast embarrassment. This body is infecting me. You are sure that you wouldn’t have lost to Yoshida if you were still you. At least not so easily.

Kazuo drags you through the garden path, seemingly not caring that you transferred from tatami mats to a stone walkway. You are too proud to cry out, though, and try to endure it by twisting your body in an effort not to get too scraped up. It doesn’t really work and you are feeling pretty battered by the time Kazuo tosses you into the back of a car. He sits down beside you. For a moment you entertain the delusion of overpowering him and taking the car to escape. Your body feels like it was chewed up and spit out, however.

The point is moot when Yoshida piles in a moment later. Masahiro gets in the driver’s seat and the car takes off a moment later. They must have another car for Noboru and Chigusa. You feel bad about Chigusa getting wrapped up in this. Hopefully they will believe her when she says she has no idea what is going on. You doubt it though. Her best bet - and your own - was that Ishikawa managed to do what he needed to do and the NPA arrested Yoshida.

“Kazuo. I don’t know what that woman is or what she might be able to do. For now, put her to sleep.”

“Understood.” The yakuza pulls a small spray bottle from inside his jacket. You try to move away but he sprays the mist directly into your face. You lose consciousness instantly.
