Hunting Scouts

((Unsure if we should go with English names or not. Personally I prefer Serena myself but that's up to the authors))

Another monster fell before a Sailor scout's power. She gave a small pose before having to dodge another attack. That was the third one she'd destroyed but they kept coming. She and the other Sailors were hard pressed some days but surely they'd win this one like they'd won all the other nights, with the blessing of the moon and planets on their side.. Even in their early 20s, the girls were a crack team of fighters and close friends. Tokyo had too many random monster attacks to really move away. If it wasn't some old evil **** that wanted another round it was simply dark creatures drawn to the latent energies in the city, largely left behind by their battles. But some crawled out of dark portals, myths, and realities.

And so the girls still fought ever onward, for a better future.

And yet this time, this tale, it would be different. One monster, kept watch of the battle, off from the side. They'd been hunting the scouts for awhile now, watching and waiting. Observing weaknesses and mannerisms. They'd done this for awhile now and as the last monster was slain, started to make their move. The girls were too powerful as a team. And were too alert and quick alone. After a battle though, when they would be high off their victory, confident, and low on energy; this would be the perfect time to move.

So it waited. It waited till the girls finished chatting. It waited until the girls returned to their human forms. It waited for the girls to finish up and leave their separate ways. And even then it waited, giving them time to separate and for any others watching to leave. Until finally it moved.

It was time for the hunt. It was just a manner of picking who.
