How things really are for Priya

“I’m damn tired, would you mind if we head home William,” Priya said, arms slumping. It had been a long couple of days for the nurse and she needed to crash.

“Yeah, I think I’m good,” Williams said as they walked out of the club. There was a small exodus leaving, as it was getting close to closing.

Leela got their new BMW and picked up the two.

Getting home at 2am, the three tramped into the house, now all ready to sleep.

Kareena was in their living room clearly waiting for her daughters. She still looked at William with a cool glance as the three walked in. There was the slightest hint of something sticky in Kareena’s luxurious hair.

“Good evening my daughters,” Kareena said with her slight Indian accent

“Did you enjoy yourselves?” she continued.

“Please tell us how your right was Kareena?” William told her.

“Oh, normal, Khris and I enjoyed ourselves while you were out,” she returned giving a secret smile.

She looked at William with little disguised mistrust.

“Priya, can we talk privately?” Kareena said.

William whispered something in Kareena early, she shook her head and started talking.

“Priya, how could you do this? You were supposed to take her for your little sister, not bring a strange man over to sleep with both of you,” Kareena said, clearly she didn’t see William or Leela.

“Mom it’s not at all like that. We are just helping William recover from his injuries. Leela has been great with him,” Priya told her mother.

“This is not right Priya and you know it,” the older woman almost yelled.

“I’m very disappointed in you. We trusted you, and this is the thanks we get,” Kareena told the young nurse.

Leela had never seen her mother treat her sister so poorly, she wondered if it was always like this. She turned to William.

“Did you get them to ignore or something?” she said as her mother continued to berate her sister.

“Yes, she wanted some privacy, I thought you wanted to see how your sister see’s things,” William said.
