Home or whore?

Jeremy started talking as soon as she got back, "Nancy I am going to be brutally honest with you and then you will have a choice to make, all right?"

Nancy stammered a little uncertain, "Umm, OK, but I don't understand."

"I know you don't understand; that is the point. Robert is a swindler. He is not coming to meet you tonight or ever. He is gone, you will never hear from him again. Let me ask you a question, you always met in restaurants right, never in his office. Did you ever see any other clients, a secretary, or anything that supports his claim of being a producer? The restaurants that you met at were always cheap and out of the way right. He probably told you that he did not want to be recognized so he always went to other parts of the city.

Jeremy saw that Nancy was listening very closely to him, and she was wrestling with her feelings. She said, "He is coming back! He believes in me. He is a big producer and he is going to get me a part. He said he represented major stars and that he saw the same type of potential in me. He said I would make millions."

Jeremy continued to ask her pointed questions, "What are the names of the other "stars" that he represents. He probably told you he can't tell you because they want their privacy. He also told you that he slept with you and only you; that he never has a sexual relationship with his clients, but you were so special and meant something to him, right."

Tears were welling in Nancy's eyes and Jeremy could tell that he was reaching her with the truth. Now to finish it and see how she wanted things to go. He continued to talk to her, "Now you have no money, no job, and have no idea how you will survive."

Tears were streaming down Nancy's face and Jeremy could see that she believed him. She said, "I can't believe he did that to me. He seemed like he really liked me really believed in me."

Jeremy continued, "Now I am going to give you a choice. The decision will be yours to make. First option is I will give you bus fare and some money for food and you can go back to where you came from, marry a nice boy, and forget about ever coming here. The second option is you can come to work here for me as an entertainer. You will be a whore, a high priced whore but still a whore. You will do what that girl on that stage is doing; you will have sex with men for money, any type of sex they desire. You will still have a chance to pursue your acting career; a couple of the girls have made it out of here to Broadway. I will treat you well, and I will never lie to you. Work for me for ten years and you can retire with a nice nest egg, anywhere in the world that you want. Make no mistake I am not a nice man, but I am a fair man and I will never lie to you."

Nancy had stopped crying and was looking at him with a look of utter surprise on her face. She said in a level voice, "So my choice is to go home as a failure or be a whore and work in your high class whorehouse."

Jeremy nodded at her and she suddenly made her decision as she spoke to him, "I will work for you. I will do whatever it takes. I still want to be an actress even if that prick took advantage of me."

"Good, I like a decisive girl Now there is just one more thing."
