Hold her, help her feel better

Before she can continue to ramble on, you decide to keep Stoller calm by stepping forward and hugging her tight. All this time, someone has been crazy about you, and finding out this way is just too much.

On autopilot, she falls into your arms, tears in her eyes. "John, I'm so sorry you had to find out this way. I had to let it out; I just couldn't help it!" She's an emotional train wreck now, and you've got to choose your words carefully.

"Miss Stoller, it's gonna be all right. I do admit, finding out about this is a bit surprising, but I am NOT going anywhere else right now." Giving her a quick kiss on the cheek, you hug her again, hoping to make her feel better.

The two of you grab a seat. Miss Stoller's still a little emotional, so you just keep her close, letting her ride out this storm.
