"Fuck, I can really relate to that. Women always break up with me for the same reason. In fact, I just received a Dear John letter from my girlfriend Loretta yesterday." Why had I never considered trying to find an asexual girlfriend before? And now, one had fallen right into my lap. Though I supposed technically I had forcibly placed her there when I molested her on the train. But still, it was a nice coincidence.

"Really? Are you asexual too?"

Hmm. "Well yes," but actually no.

If I played my cards right, I'd be able to hold down my first long-term girlfriend. She'd never grow resentful of me for not being able to have sex with her. And of course, I'd probably also be able to have sex with her anyway, she just wouldn't know it.

"Hey, what do you say we grab some pints of ice cream and some wine on our way back to your place, and drown our sorrows. Perhaps we can help each other put our breakups behind us."

Yua looked at me with a cute smile "You know what John, I think I'd like that"

"Perfect" I smile back at her.

We had a good night talking and laughing with our wine and pints of ice cream. It seemed we had a good deal in common, I felt we'd actually be a good match for each other, beyond just the sexual. I had learned that her name meant Bind/Love/Affection in Japanese, which seemed quite fitting to me. By the end of the night, having drunk a bottle each, we were pretty tired and tipsy, and Yua let me spend the night on her couch.

In the morning, I made us some pancakes and coffee before she got up. After a delightful breakfast together, I said I had to go and asked her for her number before I left.

She cheerfully gave it to me, but there was a hint of apprehension on her face as I left.

I would definitely be returning.
