History lesson

Morning came , blessing all with its grace and warmth.....

Rose- riz? rain ? Wake up foods ready, wash up and eat.

Riz- whwwh....*yawning* oi , oi Rain, wake up.

Me- *sigh* I'm awake

(He's just tooooooooo tired)

Riz-.... you.. look awful......

You try sleeping with someone who holds you so tightly that you die due ti suffocation.....yeah

Me- I...... wasn't able to sleep properly.....

Rose- c'mon guys wake up......

Rose saw my face and came near me... rested her hand on my shoulder ...........and with a face of pity........ said

Rose- I understand....... i have suffered the same ....

Me- *sob* you have my condolences

Riz- hey? Why are you both starring each other

Me- nothing... just sharing a moment with my comrade..

Riz- seriously what the hell you two doing..

She understands my pain ...

Rose- ah *blush* well .. you two should wash up food is loosing its warmth....

I nodded and did so...

Me-Damn! Rose you're a great cook!

Riz- *chuckles* well she is despite being a girl!

Rose- hey!!! what do you mean despite being a girl! He best cooking show belongs to a girl!

Riz- yeah yeah just kidding!

Man.... this place have a cooking show! are we really suffering from a zombie apocalypse?

Riz- well since breakfast is done, we should gibti boss house now !

Ah fuck i almost forgot... that women ... she didn't fall for my charms ... i have to find more about her

Me- allright, lets go!

Boss lives in a different treehouse completely separated from the town...a big mansion completely barbed with electrical wires and spiky fencing...

Me- thats a ... big house for single person....ah she lives alone right? And why is it so fortified?

Riz- well we keep our wepons and stuff, this place is not a house but also towns town's armory, you don't know when we need to fend off a hord of undead

Ah yes~ just when i was having my doubts........

Riz- wait here lemmi call her

He pulls his phone out and calls Olivia

*Ring ring*

Riz- hey boss! yeah we're here! , opne the doors will ya?

He puts it back

With the sound of machinery the heavy metal door opens and Olivia stands at door with wearing track suit

She was exercising i guess

Olivia- I'm glad you came , come in I'll some prepare the tea

Riz- ah no thanks boss.......... actually i need at be station I'll come another time

Olivia- well suit yourself, and... rain, Right? Come in, make yourself at home you'll be staying here for a long time

That's what I'm concerned about...

I entered the mansion or armory to be exact

This place is more like castle ir hideout of movie villain, dark and menacing. And this place have scary feeling of emptyness..

Me- thats a big house you got there miss Olivia

Olivia- oh you're calling me by my name?

Me- i can't?

Olivia- no! please do, I'll be more then happy with it, all the guys call me boss, so i just got used to it, having someone call me by name feels good , so please call me Olivia

Me- allright miss Olivia

Olivia- drop the "miss"

Me- allright "Olivia" , you said you're gonna instruct me? , shall we get on with it?

Olivia- wasting no time huh? I like that, so! ....let me start from the START

Olivia- it all started 128 yrs ago.., in a country called "SARENIA" , some government scientists were doing some tests on a fungus called "Ophiocordyceps unilateralis" (actual thing) nicknamed " ant zombie fungus" ,

Why would they name it that?

Olivia- its a type of fungus that controls the mind of ant and slowly controls its behavior and makes it separate from the nest and go to more humid area which then helps fungi to grow more . they were testing if this fungus is able to control the minds of living being without hurting them

That never works....

Olivia- one day their efforts bore fruit, they were successful in controlling rats they thought now it was time for Races experiments

(Races- a term used to define all races)

Ah classic. ....

Olivia- there~ then we had patient zero , first person to be zombiefied , but there was a problem.... you see besides animals and insects... Races have high intelligence and fungi was able to merge with it .., then it learned to multiply and capture and transfer through physical contact

Its getting serious. ...

Olivia- it was a disaster the fungus didn't show any symptoms, but after infecting someone, that person would convert within 36 hrs ..., paitents infected scientist, scientists infected their families, families to friends. .. then friends traveled across lands within a month whole world was a living hell .

Me- *glup* then how did it is ..., like now?

Olivia- well military helped a lot the whole world United., and only in 79 yers we regained our world, the zombies were still there, but by then we had gained back enough to reestablish a unified civilization....

Olivia- it took some time but in next 10 years we built a world, safe, unified, connected, and most importantly steadily growing.... what you see now our results of our parents hardships. .. except elves .... they were from start...... bastard don't die easy...

Me- then you mean you rebuild all of these? including entertainment and TV's?

Olivia- well once you are safe you need food after that a shelter and when you have all , you'll demand comfort thats how people roll,...... well thats it for the world history, rest up a lil, we'll start the lessons some time later

Me- ok

Man thats some heavy story, if i was movie director i could maje a whole trilogy on this and all will be definently a big hit!

When i was in deep thought Olivia came near me and patted my head

Olivia- you remind me of my brother. He used to lost in thoughts just like you

Her face is gentle , a smile ........ relaxing as ocean breeze

Me- um if you like you can treat me as your lil brother!

This is first time i have felt a great aspiration towards someone her charisma is what drives my words

Olivia- ....... a u you shouldn't tease a old lady ..... hey you said you just were trapped in lab Right?

Me- ye yeah.....

Her face grown a smirk ................ but she soon loses it

Olivia- n no...... you know what, its nothing, just go and some have rest we'll talk later

Her ears drop down ...

I feel sad for her .........
