His scoundrel of a best friend, Mark

"You're not the pizza guy" Ryan said when he saw the lanky man in the hallway outside his apartment door. "Hey man can I come in and talk for a minute?" Mark says. "Yeah man, you hungry? I just ordered a pizza and it should be here soon." asks Ryan, before going to sit back on his couch. Mark closes the door and sits down on the couch next to his friend and says "Yeah man I could eat, anyway I've got something I've gotta ask."

*knock* *knock*

Ryan bolts up to open his door. This time it really is the pizza and cheesy bread being delivered, so he sets it on his coffee table and grabs a slice of the big sausage pizza. After they had each had a couple of slices, Ryan remembers their earlier conversation and asks Mark what he was going to say before getting interrupted. Nervous, Mark sighs before asking.
