His jeans

His opening strategy is about what you expected. He extends his staff out fully in an opening strike, certain to hit you if you had stepped forward. But instead, you start with a step back.

Getting inside of his range is tricky, so instead you opt to let him come to you. And sure enough, his eagerness gets the better of him, as he runs straight towards you. Once he's close enough, you dart forward to close the last of the distance. Your quick sword thrust makes it out before his slower staff can swing at you, and now that he's in your range you intend to press the speed advantage for as long as you can. You launch into a flurrious combo of quick stabs, ending with a strike at his legs to knock him onto the ground.

Shatter!

As your final blow connects, his character's trousers explode into pieces. That was fast! You must've scored some sort of critical hit.

The action stops as he hits pause on the game, and throws his hands up. "What the heck!? Already?!"

He stands up, and you notice he's blushing slightly. He averts his eyes from you, as his hands come down, ready to unbutton his jeans.
