Highway Patrol

Nikki knows nothing of car repair, and sees nothing out of the ordinary. She gets upset with herself for not taking the car in for a check-up. She looks around the edge of the hood and sees a Highway Patrol vehicle pull up behind her car. Momentarily, a rather tall female officer walks up to Nikki. She looks over the scene and asks if Nikki needed any assistance.

Nikki remembers something she was always told, and asks to see ID. The officer shows her police ID, and compliments Nikki on the question. Nikki tells the officer her car just quit on her, and asks if she knows anything about cars. The officer replies that her ex keeps her car going. The officer radios in, and requests a tow truck.

Dispatch replies it will be a while as the regular towing service is busy, and the other company may not be available. The officer tells Nikki the smaller company's owners are out of town and their son is running the business. The officer tells Nikki to have a seat in the back of the patrol car, before they both melt.

Nikki appreciates the offer, as was dying there in the sun. After 15 minutes, the dispatcher comes on the radio and says the tow truck is on the way. Nikki notices the officer keeps looking into the rearview mirror, and realizes she is being watched. She knows her outfit was revealing, but never expected a girl to be checking her out. Being playful, she adjusts her halter top.

Right on time, a tow truck shows up and a young guy, probably 18, hops out. Nikki gets out of the back and leans into the officer's open window, giving her a nice view of cleavage. The officer hands Nikki a business card, and tells her if she has any other problems in this area to contact her.

Nikki wals over to her car, and tells the driver her car quit on her. She notices he looks pretty good, and wonders about him. She asks if there is a repair shop in town, and he replies his dad is the shop mechanic.. He is out of town, but he does know his way around a car. He looks under the hood, and asks her to try to start the car. After a quick try, he walks over and looks down at her and says the engine is getting no spark. He will have to tow it back to the shop.

Being stuck here, she asks if there is a motel in town. He replies it is a small town and his family owns the small one next to the shop. He hooks the car up, and has Nikki hop into the passenger side of the truck. The trip takes only a few minutes and they are at the shop. He says he can look at the car and give her an estimate. She asks about a room and he says he has a room, as no one else is staying. He gets her needed info, and tells her his name is Zeke. He gives her a key and she grabs her bag out of her trunk and goes to her room. It is not too bad, very clean and somewhat modern looking.
