Hide under the coffee table

You look around in a panic, trying to find somewhere to hide, then make a break for the coffee table and dive under it. From under the dark wooden table you watch Mina’s bare feet as she finishes counting to twenty, then begins walking around, looking for you.

“Oh Jaaack,” she says in a singsong voice. “I’m gonna get you. Now where could you be hiding?”

You watch with nervous excitement as Mina tiptoes around the perimeter of the living room, looking for you between the potted plants, behind the desk, and under the doormat. All the while, she playfully taunts you, daring you to come out from hiding so she can catch you and eat you.

It takes quite a bit of willpower to resist her taunts. Part of you wants nothing more than to just step out from your hiding place and let her snatch you up. But that would take all the fun out of this little game - better to delay that gratification as long as possible.

Besides, it looks like you won’t have much longer to wait. Mina’s search is bringing her closer to your hiding place in the center of the room.

Your heart begins to pound as she gets down on her hands and knees and begins looking under the couch and chairs, continuing her singsong teasing as she searches.

Finally, she looks under the coffee table and gasps as she spots you.

“There you are,” Mina beams. “I got you!” she says with a haughty laugh as she reaches under the coffee table for you. You back away until you’re just out of reach.

“Oh no! P-please don’t eat me,” you plead playfully.

“Aw, but I’m hungry.” She says, crawling around the coffee table to get closer to you. “Don’t you wanna be a good boy and feed me?”

She reaches for you again. What do you do?
