Hesitate...

Gene hesitates, unsure as to whether to accept Nucleina's offer, fearing it may be a trap of some sort...

Suddenly, the tornado sirens go off. Gene hear a faint hiss and electric crackling in the distance, which slowly grows louder. Gene turn around to look behind him to find an unmistakable sight -- A long, narrow band of orange and yellow turmoil of energy and lightning, only ever seen in an old Star Trek movie. It is rapidly approaching Gene's former restaurant. Almost immediately, Gene's boss runs out terrified.

"Gene, get out of here NOW! A meteor is coming!"

"That's no meteor, Gene. You know exactly what it is. You lucky swine," Nucleina said, shaking her head. "Strange I didn't see it on my way in. Good luck, Gene!"

Nucleina got back into her ship and left just moments before the "Ribbon" arrived, sweeping thousands of people, including Gene, into a literally timeless new dimension of Utopia and bliss.
