Herbology and then Flying Lessons

Herbology wasn't very difficult to do, Regulus had the Competency of a Fourth Year Ravenclaw in this Subject. He actually gained Ten Points for Displaying exceptional Skill, Competency, and Understanding of his Plants uses, defects, requirements, and the Handling of them. He also helped Hermione with hers, much to the Displeasure of the other Slytherin's, but most of their displeasure was tempered by the fact that this got Regulus an extra Three Points for Aiding another Student, and an additional three for aiding a Student from a Rival House.

Of course Malfoy just had to run his Mouth about who's Side Regulus was on, but Regulus very Loudly told Malfoy to Fuck Off and Bawl his Eyes out into his Fathers Dress. He also said that if Malfoy ever insulted Hermione or hurt her, he wouldn't leave Hogwarts With his Legs still Attached to his Waist. Madam Hooch did deduct two points for that threat however, but that still got him Thirteen Points altogether.

While this didn't improve his already Considerable Standing in Slytherin, it did endear him to some of the Gryffindors, and Hermione in Particular.

Ironically The very Next Lesson would Be Another of Madam Hooch's Classes: Flying Lessons. Most First Years would have Trouble flying, But Regulus had a little trick or three up his Sleeve, he was a Natural Flyer, he Had afterall trained with the Bulgarian and Irish International Quidditch Teams. He was actually more interested in seeing how well Hermione would actually Do in this Lesson, Because as a Muggle-born Witch she would undoubtedly have some trouble, but as everyone but him regarded her as Bossy Know-it-all with No Friends, there were undoubtedly some who would pounce upon her should she falter in this Lesson.

Anyway his Pre-School Quidditch Training wasn't his only Asset, he had ascess to a Nimbus 2000, and so did Hermione for that Matter. Hermione hade received it as a secret Gift, from him. He had arranged it with Dumbledore prior to the Lesson. Regulus was also interested in Joining the Slytherin Quidditch Team, but he wanted ro pass this class first before he did that.

Malfoy Fucked up in the Class, he Lost Slytherin eight Points for Bullying, and another six for Unfair Play. But Regulus compensated this loss by doing the opposite of what Draco did. Draco may have be the Face of the Current Slytherin Generation in the eyes of the other Houses, but anyone who was in Slytherin knew that Regulus was the one with the Real Power in Slytherin. He simply let Malfoy look stupid.

Although he had to admit, he felt some sort of Connection with Draco, a Bond of Sorts. It was elusive, but it was there, in a way he could Hear Draco's Voice in his head, when he hadn't even opened his mouth. There was more than a distant Relationship here, and Regulus would need to find out more. But for now he'd have to enjoy the Interval Break in Classes.
