Her powers go haywire

Born with the mutant ability to phase through solid matter, Ms. Pryde was accustomed to doing things a certain way.

Barring some people with space and privacy issues (like Wolverine or Rogue), she would just ignore doors and walls. It made things faster and easier for her.

I mean, would you take an airline to get long distances if you could actually fly? Didn't think so.

So, on one lovely morning at Xavier's Academy, Kitty was running back from a light workout in the Danger Room. She was headed back to her room to change for the rest of the day.

As she ran, she felt a strange tingle. Probably just nothing.

Hitting the next wall area, Kitty felt something new- resistance! She had to actually push a little, something akin to putting your finger into some thicker pudding.

She passed through- now right at the edge of the open Garden section between buildings- and stopped to try and figure out what happened. What could have...

"Oh my...Kitty! What are...what are you doing," a female voice called.
What? Why was Rogue acting so shocked? Why was it so much colder?

Kitty looked down and realized the truth- she was naked!!!

Due to what they would later learn to be a mutant power surge device made by an unknown villain, Kitty's powers had briefly waned. As she **** her way through the wall, she had lost her usually inherent control and phased out of her clothes!

They were inside! Behind a brick wall!
