Her good friend Samira

Samira waits for Esther to answer the call. She was given the task of planning this months double date with her and Edwin and Esther and yourself. You guys really hit it off at a church event and have been hanging out as couples ever since.

“Hey you!” Esther answers brightly, feeling a renewed confidence.

“Hey!” Samira responds suddenly more excited to talk to her good friend.

Samira and Esther really connected recently. Both able to relate to strict Christian upbringings.

“What’s the plan this weekend?!”

“Well the boys want to see the new Marvel movie!” Samira complains.

“Well let’s just go with them I guess!”

“Fine, see you tonight at 7 then?”

“It’s a date!”

That evening...

The two of you dress for your date with your friends. You’ve always had a thing for Samira, so you enjoy the fact that her and your wife are so close.

You both finish looking in the mirror each realizing what you’re forgetting. At once, both your hands reach for the necklace on the nightstand.
