Helping out a friend

"Lucinda" I said "Once You awake you will find the person you enjoyed hurting the most recently. You will apologize and ask if there is anything she could do to make it up to them. You will then do that thing, no matter how humiliating and will continue to do what they say until they tell you it's enough. You will then find the next person who you enjoyed hurting and do the same. You will continue doing this until you have found everyone you enjoyed hurting who is still at this school. Do you understand?"

I shut off the glasses and Lucinda walked off to find someone to forgive her.

I then went to the library where, I wasn't surprised to find to find my friend Brian Kerr (or Wayne Kerr as the Neanderthal jocks called him). Poor Brian was the closest thing I had to a friend. We had met in junior high and become close friends due to our shared status as geeky outcasts. Brian had all my disadvantages without my immense brain power. He was weedy, asthmatic, short sighted socially inept and had a bad case of eczema. He also had a mere 120 IQ although he had, I admit, a better tactical brain than me, which he had got through countless hours of Dungeons and Dragons. However he had been a loyal friend to me, even during my worst episodes of self doubt to reassure me that I would rule the world some day (even if I suspect he didn't take my dreams seriously), and such loyalty must be rewarded.

The reason he was in the library (apart from his love of reading) was so that he could stare forlornly at Amanda, the new girl and the only one who hadn't looked at him as though he wasn't leprous, while pretending to read. She was also an avid reader which was why he was able to always find her there.

I saw Amanda reading at a table and saw Brian trying to watch her while attempting to not be seen doing it. I sat down across from her with my back to Brian and turned on the glasses. I looked at her. She was cute enough with short mousy brown hair and glasses. But I've always liked girls with actual breasts, and I would be surprised if Amanda wore a bra, which was why I was happy to give her to Brian.

"Hi Amanda" I said and she looked up and went into a trance. "Do you know Brian Kerr?" I asked

"Yes" she said.

"Once I end this trance you will find everything Brian does endearing and everything he says fascinating. Whatever he is interested in will become your new interest and you will do whatever it takes to spend as much time as you can with him. Do you understand?"

"Yes" she said and I shut off the glasses. "O.k. see you 'round" I said heading over to Brian.

"Not cool John, not cool at all. You know I like Amanda and your trying to take her from me."

"No way Brian." I said "She was just asking me to get you to go talk to her."

"Bullshit!"

"No Bullshit. Go and talk to her."

"B-but what would I say? You know me and girls. I'd probably have an astma attack before I even got to her."

I was tired of this and turned on the glasses "You will go and talk to Amanda. You will feel no stress or anxiety about anything related to her. You will even be calm if she asks you to fuck her brains out." I turned off the glasses.

"You know" said Brian "You're right. I'm sick off worrying about rejection. I'm going to go talk to her."

I watched Brian go and was happy to see Amanda looked happy to see him. I let them talk a little before heading for the library door. As I walked past them I picked up the conversation they were wrapped up in "Really?! 3 Type 4 demons?" she was saying with a look of awe on her face. "Yeah" he said "But you know Paladins are all about the demon slaying. I mean it wasn't easy, I had to pass, like, seven **** saves, but in the end I was just able to vanquish them"

Good old Brian starting a relationship with D&D anecdotes. As you can see he really did need my help.

Anyway, I'd done my selfless acts for the day, it was time to do something to balance the karmic debt.
