Helpful gifts

Tolggor began to lay down your gifts on the end of your bed, a new bag, your own dagger, and what looks to be a pouch of gold.

"Thought you could use a little helping hand to kickstart things." He says looking at the pouch of gold.

You grab the dagger and look to Tolggor with a confused look.

"That's so you don't have to rely on the brute over there to toss you his dagger if things ever get hairy out there for you again." He says.

You grab the new bag, it's made of real leather, unlike your old ragged cloth sack you've been keeping things in this whole time, it's even got little compartments inside of it for storing different things.

"Sanna needed a better bag, thank you Tolggor." You say before looking over at the pouch of hold.

"How much is in there?" You ask.

"Two hundred, a little coin to grease the wheels, I knew you weren't exactly swimming in coin when I saw you yesterday, so I thought I should help a bit." He says with a warm smile.

"Sanna can't take this Tolggor, she appreciates the gesture, but she can't just take money, it feels wrong." You say, handing him the pouch.

"No miss, I insist, think of it as compensation for getting a chunk bitten out of your leg." He says, denying the pouch.

You look to Nacius who just nods at you to take the gold, you nod back and put all of the items in your new bag and set it on your bedside table.

"Thank you Tolggor, you and Nacius have become very good friends of Sanna in her short time here." You say, extending a hand to Tolggor.

Tolggor takes your hand and shakes it.

"No problem miss, I'm always willing to lend a hand to a friend of Nacius."

Tolggor backs away from your bed and walks towards the exit.

"It's been nice you two, but I gotta get back to the fortress before the day is over, they'll have my head." Tolggor says, waving to the both of you.

"Thanks for stopping by you drunken bastard!" Nacius says.

"Sanna thanks you again for the gifts Tolggor, dont get attacked by wolves!" You say waving to him.

"Haha, I'll try not to lass, have a good rest you two." He says before walking out of the room, leaving you and Nacius alone again.

"I wasn't expecting him to stop by, let alone with these gifts." Nacius says, holding up the bottle of wine.

"Sanna doesn't know how to feel, she has never been given gifts like these before." You say.

You straighten up your sheets before finishing the pear Nacius tossed to you.

"This is the best pear Sanna has ever had, you were right Nacius." You tell him

"See what I mean? Next you're gonna try the wine once we get out of here." He says holding up the bottle.

You both laugh for a moment before things go silent again, you feel your eyes begin to get heavy once again.

"Sanna is going to call it a night Nacius, she is tired." You tell him.

"Have a good night Sanna, I'll see you when I see you." He says jokingly.

You lay back, getting yourself comfortable before quickly raising your head up and looking at Nacius.

"Hey Nacius."

Nacius looks up at you.

"Yeah?"

"I love you." You say with a sly grin on your face, causing Nacius to turn red like a tomato again.

"Pshh, go to sleep Sanna, I love you too." He tells you.

You put your head down and lightly chuckle, soon you drift off to sleep...
